WCCC OFFICIAL “$1,000 GIVEAWAY” RULES

• HOW TO WIN: LISTEN TO WCCC’S PICOZZI, MARY & HOLDEN (6AM-10AM) WEEKDAYS FROM MONDAY, APRIL 5TH, 2010 TO FRIDAY, APRIL 30TH, 2010.  DURING THE SHOW, THEY WILL ANNOUNCE THAT DAY’S “WCCC $1,000 PHRASE”.  LATER IN THE SHOW WHEN THEY ASK FOR IT, THE CORRECT NUMBER CALLER ASKED FOR (TO 860-525-WCCC) WITH THE CORRECT PHRASE OF THE DAY WINS $1,000.
• THE NEXT DAY’S “PHRASE OF THE DAY” WILL ALSO BE ANNOUNCED WEEKNIGHTS DURING BROADCAST OF “THE OFFICE” (STARTING AT 7PM) ON THE CT PART OF WTXX-TV
• You must be at least 18 years of age or 21 years of age if the contest is sponsored by an alcohol.
• Persons winning any prize from WCCC with a value less than $600 must wait 30 days before winning again.
• Persons winning prize from WCCC with a value equal to or greater than $600 must wait 3 months before winning again.
• Winners must supply WCCC with their legal name and sign a copy of the rules and release form.  Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize.
• Only one winner per household during the contest period is allowed.
• No purchase necessary.
• WCCC is not responsible for misdirected entries or phone disconnections/problems and entries must be legible to be eligible.
• Prizes are non-transferable.  The winner must take the prize as scheduled.  All prizes must be picked up within 30 days of prize availability date or the prize is forfeited.
• Employees, former employees, interns or former interns, of Marlin Broadcasting Incorporated, affiliated advertising agencies, participating sponsors, promotional partners, other radio and television employees and members of their immediate family are not eligible to win.
• Specific winner eligibility is the sole judgment of WCCC management.
• Winners of prizes over $599.00 must sign a liability release form; a statement indicating they have read these rules: and are required to sign IRS form 1099 for the equivalent. Winner has 30 days from the time they win a prize to decide if they wish to accept that prize. Once a prize is accepted, winner is responsible for paying the tax on that prize regardless of use. If a prize is not accepted, winner is not responsible for paying the taxes the prize. Prizes and tax responsibilities are non-transferable. Winners are solely responsible for all Federal, State and Local taxes.  By participating in this contest, winners grant WCCC the right to use their name, voice or likeness without further compensation.  Pursuant to the liability release, the winner agrees to hold WCCC, Marlin Broadcasting, employees, agents and representatives harmless against any and all claims of liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize.
• WCCC reserves the right to make changes in the contest rules, which become effective upon broadcast of an alteration announcement.
• Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in contestant disqualification and disqualification from future contests
