Hailing from Ridgefield, CT, the members of Goldens Bridge started playing together while still in high school. They took their name from a town in New York and declare that “there's nothing the 1500+ residents living in the hamlet of Goldens Bridge, New York can do about it!” With influences ranging from the Beatles to Slayer, they say that “most people consider us a straight-up metal band, and our music currently is mostly based in metal, but we don’t like to label ourselves as a ‘metal band’. We don’t want to be lumped into a category with thousands upon thousands of metal bands who basically dress the same way, write the same music, write the same lyrics, and have the same band name”. Their CD entitled “Blame It On The Music” was released in March, 2009. Band members are: Robert Loncto (vocals/guitar), James "Cadillac" Reville (bass), Brian Cococcia (drums).

Fatgrip (from Bristol, CT) has gone through a few lineup changes over the years, and has now recently been resurrected. After a few months of writing, they added bassist Matt McCarthy and Les’s childhood friend, Andy Parker. Their influences include The Beatles, Foo Fighters, The Replacements, and The Ramones. They have a 4-song demo available, and recently recorded a theme song for WCCC’s “Picozzi, Klonk & Holden” show. Hailing from East Haven, CT, the current incarnation of Risk All In Life (also known as R.A.I.L.) formed when the original core members of the band got together with a couple guys from the now defunct band Room237. Each of the members brings a distinct musical background ranging from their days as a small acoustic band jamming at Southern Connecticut State University to their present day metal and hardcore influences. They plan on releasing an album entitled “Last Dayz” in late spring, and describe their repertoire as “a full catalogue of songs that you will find yourself humming the next day at work, school, rehab, in a ditch, or wherever you end up the next day after a show”. Broken Glow (from Hartford, CT) formed in the spring of 2008, and the first batch of songs was written while members were still being put in place. By the end of the summer and into the fall, the band members were set, and the songs had gone from scraps of paper and short recordings to full blown finished arrangements. With the wheels in motion, Broken Glow began to play at a few local clubs and work on a debut 6-track disc. Now that the recording and post-production is finished, they plan on playing venues all over Connecticut, New York, and Massachusetts. Manchester, CT’s Black Velvet formed in early 2006, and were heavily influenced by their love of classic and 90’s hard rock…taking cues (and covers) from groups like Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against The Machine, Led Zeppelin, and Sublime. After a year of tightening their chops with a former vocalist, Black Velvet welcomed Jefim Piekarz as the new sound and personality of the band. They completed work on their first full length album, entitled “Music Butler”, in December, 2008, and released the CD in January, 2009. Band members are: Jefim (vocals), Angelo (guitar), Devo (guitar), Blonski (bass), Mike (drums). |

Three of the members of Torn By Addiction (Steve, Nathan, and Josh) grew up on the same block in the town of Portland, CT. At the age of 13, Josh handed Steve his first guitar, and less than a year later, he was playing Van Halen’s “Eruption”. Steve became a local guitar legend, and by the time the guys were 17, their band was opening for acts like Three Days Grace and Everlast at the Webster Theatre in Hartford. After a 4 year intermission, the members got back together and Torn By Addiction was formed. They recently added a new member to share the vocal duties, and plan to hit the studio this summer. Band members are: Peezy (vocals/guitar), Steve (lead guitar), Nathan (vocals/bass), Josh (drums). |

Twisting Karma formed during the Summer of 2008 in the small town of Adams, MA. Although new to writing, the members quickly put together a collection of songs and started booking gigs. After several shows and some time spent in a professional recording studio, the band began to gain popularity and a strong local fan base. In 2009, Twisting Karma decided to overhaul its entire sound. The band decided to go in a heavier direction, and work on new, more intricate songs that showcase a heavier “melodic metal” sound. Twisting Karma hopes to travel throughout the east coast and gain exposure to a larger fan base and ultimately release a full-length with the support of a label. Band members are: Mike Sommer (vocals/guitar), Dylan Scieszka (guitar), Justin Clairmont (bass), Ben Langner (drums). |

Hailing from the Bristol, CT area, the 4 members of Inderivium came together in 2006 and quickly began writing and recording. Things soured quickly, however, with the loss of a rehearsal space and a major car accident which sidelined drummer Pete for several months. The band played very little during 2007 and while they remained friends, Inderivium was all but dead. Things changed in 2008 after Tom and Pete began writing what would become “The Empty Injection”, Inderivium’s first release in Winter 2009. They describe their music as “embracing the asset of strong melody lines over intense grooves where the crowd can sing along, but can turn on a dime and bring and the house down with screaming metal interludes”. Band members are: Mike Aiello (vocals), Tom Myers (guitar), Chris Relyea (bass), Pete Fratta (drums). |

The band is actively working to gain exposure, with shows expanding out of Connecticut and into the New York City and Long Island areas. In the next year, they plan on playing throughout the northeast. Band members are: Greg (vocals), Eric (guitar), Travis (guitar), Andy (bass), Tony (drums).

Filthy Little Whores (from Danbury, CT) have been together for about four years, and in that time, they say they’ve “played on stage with strippers, gotten attacked on stage, had stuff thrown at us, gotten booed, and jumped on top of bars”. Despite of (or maybe BECAUSE of) all this mayhem, they’ve also shared the stage with many of the top independent metal bands in the Northeast. In 2008, they released their latest 5-song EP entitled “Thrown To The Wolves” on their own label, Chowda House Records. Throughout all of this, they’ve truly lived by their motto “We are FILTHY…and so are you, so check us out”. In 2004, Connecticut’s Crost Off began playing backyard parties and open mics under the name Silklid. In January 2006, after shaking up the line-up and wanting something more, they renamed themselves at a local open mic night. As guitarist Mike was signing the band up on the usual sign-in sheet, he noticed the many band names on the list. As each act played, their name was crossed off the list, and soon thereafter the band Crost Off was born. Although they’re not afraid to take their music in new directions, their sound has been described as Metal Core, Progressive, and Experimental. In 2008, they completed work on their first 3-song EP, and participated in the Project Independent artist showcase. Plans for 2009 include new material, a full length CD, and bigger & better shows. Band members are: Bob McDonald (vocals), Mike Vajda (lead guitar), Kurk Derks (guitar), Hector Acevedo (bass), Art Kurpaska (drums). |

Back in 2006, longtime New Haven, CT mainstays Vechel Jaynes and Donny Freeman had a conversation over drinks, and decided they wanted to play music like the stuff they heard when they were younger. This included everything from arena acts of the 70’s like Cheap Trick, Queen, and KISS, to heavier bands like Motorhead, the sounds of Motown, and the political ferocity of bands like The Clash and Black Flag. Lord Fowl was immediately thrust into the “stoner” category, but they feel it’s hard to group themselves with some of the apathetic “hipster” bands they’ve shared the stage with since Lord Fowl performs, jumps around, and are heavy but sing melodic vocal lines. They’ve also retained a sense of outrage at the unjust world around them, an attitude they feel is common among people who grew up in the Reagan years. Their debut CD, “Endless Dynamite”, was released on September 23rd, 2008. Band members are: Vechel Jaynes (guitar/vocals), Mike Pellegrino (guitar/vocals), John Conine (bass), Donny Freeman (drums). |

Medicated Savage got together in 2002, and quickly made a name for themselves in the Springfield, Massachusetts rock scene with a sound they describe as “chunky, aggressive groove metal”. They soon released their debut CD entitled “Placebo” and found themselves opening for national acts in area clubs. Just when it seemed like the band was going to take off, personal issues for its five members forced them to shut it down. Then, in November 2007, after 5 years apart, original members Bob, Jay, and Moe decided to reform the band with two new members, Bob and Brian. Their reunion show was held at Maximum Capacity in Chicopee, followed by a gig with Sevendust and Taproot at Pearl Street in Northampton. Confident in this powerful second coming of the band, they are currently writing material for their next full length album. Band members are: Moses Whitlock aka Moe Screams (vocals), Bob Lonis (lead guitar), Bob “Crash” Gordon (rhythm guitar), Brian Bernache (bass), Jason Aller (drums). |

Since then, they’ve recorded a full 15-song album entitled “Don’t Be Ridiculous” and hooked up with 10 Foot Reach Records, which is a division of local label Sling Slang Records. Their genre is described as “groove metal”…heavy music, but still punky, still poppy, and still catchy. The band prides itself on not recording what they cannot do live, so “what you hear is what you get”. They are also currently working on a new 11 or 12 track record. Band members are: R.C. We don’t worry about who we sound like or what genre we are in, we just write what sounds good to us or what we would want to hear”. As a DIY (do it yourself) band, they do all of their own recordings, and are currently working on a new 6-song EP. They also pride themselves on their high energy live performances, saying “Don’t expect to come to a show and not move around, because you will…whether you like it or not!”. Gone By Daylight (from Southwick, MA) has been described as “akin to Third Eye Blind, who took an intricately catchy rock sound and made it easily accessible to the masses. They released a CD entitled “Sold My Soul” in 2007, and cancelled plans for a Summer 2008 tour in order to work on “a body of music that is the most inspired songwriting we've ever done as a band”. Truth Reveals (from Springfield, MA) started out as the Godsmack tribute band Badmagick. In December of 2004, a friend of the band, John Myslinski, joined the group as their new drummer, and they released their second CD, “Fallen” in 2007. The members of North Haven’s Murdervan grew up as friends, and although they worked together in various musical projects over the years, they officially formed Murdervan in 2004. Since then, they’ve played close to 300 shows, toured the US three times, toured the East Coast twice, and released 2 records…a self-titled full length, and the more recent “Jaundice” EP. They are currently writing material for a new full length, and when asked to describe their sound, they say “Our influences are too many to list. The three of us have grown up on a wide variety of music. We DO NOT try to be a metal band, punk band, emo band, or post-pop-emo-screamo-metal-punk-core-alt-rock band. When asked to describe our sound our answer is ‘rock’. No bells or whistles. No gimmicks, schticks or what have you. We don't have stage costumes or stage names, and usually the clothes we wear to work are what we play in. Simply three guys who play hard, fast, rock n roll”. Band members are: Shaun (guitar/vocals), Andre (bass/vocals), Adoni (drums/vocals). |

The music of Bridgeport’s Mugshot Militia was once described as “…as subtle as a brick going through a pane of glass”. After a 3-year hiatus, the band is back together, and say that “We have all grown and matured, but the chemistry still remains the same, and so does the love of the music we play”. The band, whose members have “lived and breathed this music as a way of life for the past 20 years”, released a 4-song demo in 2004, but plans to take their “older, wiser, and tighter” style into the studio to record their debut full-length album this winter. Band members are: Darren Galpin (vocals), Eric Vitolo (guitar), John Robinson (guitar), Paul Kochiss (bass), Conner (drums). |

Vengeance (from the “Den of Iniquity” of Killingworth, CT) describe themselves as a “modern original ‘riff rock’ band that has its roots firmly planted in the soul of the metal classics”. They originally formed in 2004 and quickly gained a local following by playing any chance they got, while focusing their efforts on performing at as many charity benefits as they could. After taking most of 2007 off, they recently regrouped with two new members and released an album titled “In Paradise”. Band members are: Ray Smith (vocals), Duncan MacIntyre (guitar), Scott Capaldo (guitar), Kevin Schock (bass), Kurt Schock (drums). |

Hailing from Connecticut’s “airport area” of Windsor Locks and Simsbury, Eyedropper got together in January of 2008 when the former front man of the band Stereo Zephyr joined members of the band Goliath. Influenced by an eclectic mix of classic rock and alternative sounds like Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Pearl Jam, and Stone Temple Pilots, Eyedropper say they are “aggressively engaged in a collaborative effort to write music that is passionate and connected to the people”, and they recently recorded a 5-song demo CD entitled “Toxin” at Paul Lusky’s Rock Barn recording studio. Band members are: John (vocals), Ken (guitar), Charlie (guitar), Brendan (bass), Dan (drums). |

The idea for Connecticut’s Mad Orchid began in 2007 when Mike Ostuni (who was drumming for the signed band Craving Lucy at the time) decided to pursue his love of singing along with his desire to write music and lyrics of his own. He called his longtime friend and bass player Kyle with whom he had previously collaborated on several projects together, and got the ball rolling. They were interested in adding a drummer they had seen perform with the now-defunct band The Givin, but didn’t know his name or contact info. In a strange twist of fate, Tony Dilonardo answered their ad for a drummer they had placed on Craigslist, and it turned out that he was the same drummer they were trying to track down in the first place. The last piece of the puzzle was added when Berklee College Of Music grad (and former member of disbanded WCCC Homegrown band Pushboxx) Joe Bastura joined the group. The band also recently received endorsements from Illusion Clothing and InTune Guitar Picks. Band members are: Mike Ostuni (lead vocals/guitar), Joe Bastura (guitar), Kyle Berardinelli (bass), Tony Dilonardo (drums). |

Based in Stratford, CT, Alibi was formed in 1989 with the goal of writing and recording original hard rock with hopes of achieving record industry interest. In 1991, they recorded a 6-song demo called “Blame It On Love” with producer Paul Avgerinos, and continued to play live throughout New England and New York. In 1993, Alibi and 9 other local hard rock bands put out a compilation CD entitled “All For One”. Despite the onset of the “grunge era”, Alibi tried to forge on and released a 4-song CD called “Alibi” in 1994, but by 1995, the members had split up and gone on to work on other projects. In 2007, the “All For One” CD somehow ended up at a Las Vegas record company called Retrospect Records, who quickly tracked down the band…prompting an Alibi reunion. Retrospect Records re-mastered and repackaged 10 previously recorded songs onto one disc and began worldwide distribution. The band is now writing new music and will soon be heading into the studio to record. Band members are: Alex Barberi (vocals), Bill Barclay (guitar), Keith Sinnot (bass), Mark Mascagna (drums). |

Hailing from Southern Connecticut’s “All-American Valley”, One Jack Move was formed in the summer of 2006. The band’s name literally means “to steal something”, and the members have always been drawn to artists who “were able to seamlessly combine different styles, such as bands like Sublime and Dispatch”. After spending a couple of years covering the music of the bands they grew up listening to, they began to write new material and develop a style of their own with the intent to “build upon the sounds their influences created”. They solidified their current lineup in August of 2007 and released a 6-track EP entitled “Daybreak”, which was produced by Michael Ostuni of the band Craving Lucy. Their upcoming plans include recording a 4-song original EP with Scott White (of Derik & The Funbags) at Whitehouse Studios in Shelton, CT. Band members are: Dom (vocals/guitar), Carl (lead guitar), Kev (bass), Adam (drums). |

Formed in early 2006, New Haven’s Xen has spent the last two years developing and solidifying their own sound while drawing from numerous and diverse influences. Their first EP, titled “Enlightenmentality”, was recorded at Adorea Studios in late 2007 and released in the spring of 2008. They feel that this 4-track CD “showcases the band’s current direction…aggressive at times, melodic at others”. As they look to build up their growing fan base, they hope to “continue to write music that is both honest and heartfelt”. Band members are: Tory (vocals), Aaron (guitar), Derek (bass), Dave (drums). |

Hartford’s Wrench In The Works has been praised by some as “the hardest working band in Connecticut”, and their sound has been described as “a style of progressive music that is genuinely unique and savagely majestic. A sound which is brutally aggressive joins with well-written metal-influenced-hardcore to show its unabashed rebellion against the genre's restricting conventions”. The release of their 2005 full-length, “Prodigal Transmission”, took the band on their first self-promoted national tour, as well as an eastern Canadian tour and countless weekend shows, continuously teaming up with a broad range of bands. They’re currently gearing up for another national tour this summer, and their upcoming Facedown Records debut, “Lost Art Of Heaping Coal”, will be available at all major retailers on August 19th, 2008. Band members are: Justin Mehl (guitar/vocals), Darrell Tauro (bass/vocals), Andy Nelson (drums). |

Kadarka (from Rockville, CT) formed in 2006, and derived their name from the red grape used as the principal flavor behind Hungary's "Bull's Blood of Eger" wine dating back to the 1700’s. They say that they are “focused on writing and performing original music. With lyrics influenced by real-life experiences and music that embraces the riffs and beats from classic bands such as Led Zeppelin and Aerosmith to more current acts like Pearl Jam and Local H, we have a sound that can only be described as heavy, hard-edged, and haunting”. They released a self-titled EP in April 2007 followed by a 14-song acoustic CD in November, all the while “striving to bring music back to the days when the song mattered more than the individual musicians. We are all about group spirit and have a pub-wrecking here-we-are attitude that is anything but sugar-coated pop music”. Band members are: Gary Marineau (vocals), Eric Schott (guitar/vocals), Jeff Murray (bass/vocals), Justin Pinette (drums). |

Formerly known as Xuxa Godbody and the Apocalyptic Beach Party, Garbage Barge has set itself apart from other local acts due its original blend of humor, satire, wit, and attitude. Pooling influences from the likes of GWAR, S.O.D., Primus, and even Frank Zappa, the band produces a sound and personality all its own. With the Kong-like antics of Captain Godbody, the roaring guitars of Perseus Thumbknuckle, the demonic rumblings of bassist Chief Mbutu, and the thunder of drummer Toobulisk, Garbage Barge is a band not to be missed. With their debut album “Monolith of Trash” due out in Summer 2008, the landscape of music will forever be changed. Featuring songs that range in subject matter from the disturbing and/or inappropriate to just plain bizarre, Garbage Barge will certainly continue to shock and entertain their fans. Band members are: Captain Godbody (vocals), Perseus Thumbknuckle (guitar/vocals), Chief Mbutu (bass), Toobulisk (drums/vocals). |

From the late seventies throughout the eighties, a form of music was created with the sound and fury of a thousand blood-starved warriors ready to loot, rape and pillage for their cause! That form of music was called HEAVY METAL! For more than a decade, this proud sonic beast stood tall over all its pathetic competitors. Dance, rap and especially glam rock all bowed their heads when faced with the raging power of metal. But somewhere around the beginning of the nineties, The Beast became infected with a deadly disease, TRENDY FALSE METAL! The horrid sounds of grunge, industrial and funk dealt lethal blows to The Beast, while many of its followers betrayed the faith, stabbing metal in the back in order to get a ticket on the latest bandwagon. The once proud Metal Beast lay broken, thought dead by those who had betrayed and plotted against it. But behold, there were those who knew the truth, saw the light and stood their ground in the face of overwhelming odds. Those who would nurse The Beast back to health and start it on its road to recovery and re-conquest! Those men are NASTY DISASTER!!! Band members are: Herman VonRohl (vocals), Ian McRok (lead guitar/vocals), Viking Rock (guitar/bass), Ron Zombie (guitar/bass), Sir Adrian Harris (bass), Rikki Stixxx (drums), Death Stick (drums). |

Monstradamus (from Wethersfield, CT) has been a band for about 4 years, but the members have played together in various projects since their teenage years. They’ve been influenced by a wide range of artists, from Rush to The Beatles, and Pink Floyd to Metallica. They say that “The result of blending these influences helps create the band’s distinct sound, but also makes them difficult to categorize into one musical genre”. Their debut CD “Madman’s Roust” was released in February 2008 on 10 Foot Reach Records, which is a division of the Connecticut independent label Sling Slang Records. Monstradamus doesn’t currently have a vocalist, but say they aren’t opposed to adding one if they happened upon the right fit. Band members are: Mike DeRocher (guitar), Joe DeRocher (bass), Henry Rodriguez (drums). |

Founding members Jeff Madore and Randy Willcox have been working together for over 10 years, but found the missing piece to their musical puzzle with vocalist Trisha Radil, and together they formed Triadic in 2004. Based in Southington & Danbury, CT, the band recorded their debut CD, “Arrival”, in 2007. They draw from a variety of influences, and were once described by PLAY magazine as having “created a unique sound, taking elements of funk and groove and mixing them with progressive metal and hard rock. The addition of soulful vocalist Trisha Radil creates a stirring dynamic. Imagine Joss Stone fronting Tool and you (kind of) get it”. In the time they’ve been together, they’ve played venues throughout Connecticut and New York and were nominated as a candidate for the “Best New Band” award in the Hartford Advocate in 2007. Band members are: Trisha Radil (vocals), Randy Willcox (guitar), Jeff Madore (drums). Triadic is currently seeking a new bassist, so if you or someone you know is interested, email the band at auditions@triadicband.com. |

Eula was formed in the winter of 2006 when the three members met in the basement of their college’s radio station and realized they shared an immediate connection. Eula released a demo entitled “The Lovely Disaster” in May of 2006, and followed it up with the “Up In Arms” EP in 2007, which led to an increasing number of shows in New England and New York City. Their 2-track debut EP was produced by Jim Fogarty of Zing Studios and released in November, 2007. In 2006, they released an EP entitled “Predawn Hours”, and they’ve recently signed with Masquerade Recordings, who will release their latest CD, “The Chase”, on April 8th, 2008. Band members Tyler and Ryan began playing together at the age of 14, and traveled to New York City and Los Angeles along the way to gain a better understanding of the music industry. Singer/songwriter Ryan Michael says "When we write, we don’t take into consideration the trends around us. We just write what we write. Our goal is to stand the test of time by writing honest, well-crafted songs that are accessible. We learned early on that if you write great songs that people can relate to, it never goes out of style". Once “The Chase” is released, their immediate plans are to tour this spring and summer, including stops on the Vans Warped Tour. Band members are: Ryan Michael (vocals/guitar), Sam Janik (guitar), Tyler McCarthy (bass/vocals). |

Simsbury, Connecticut’s pop-punk foursome Pluto Gang took their name from a fictional group of thugs in Kurt Vonnegut’s book “Breakfast Of Champions”. The band started in the summer of 2001, when singer Dorian reformed his old high school band. He’d been playing hardcore, but “grew tired of always pretending to be angry, and wanted to return to music where he could sing about being happy about being sad about girls”. After several line-up changes, the band clicked with their current members and recorded their first full-length album, “The Triumph of Sisyphus”. Their live show usually consists of 10 to 15 songs done back to back in a blistering half-hour set, and they’ve played shows up and down the east coast including a couple of stops on the Warped Tour in 2004 & 2005. Their music has been featured in the independent film, “Save The Forest”, as well as on the Outdoor Network’s coverage of the Gravity Games. They say that their upcoming album (tentatively titled “We’re Huge In Japan”) will focus on “girls, alienation, and medieval zombies”. Band members are: Dorian Fenczak(vocals/guitar), Hank Marduk Harlot III (guitar), Karl Bad Manners (bass), Mr. Chris (drums). |

In 2006, they stepped into the studio to record their first full-length album entitled “Open Up Your Ears”. Recently, the band made it to the national finals of the Bodog Music Battle Of The Bands on Fuse TV, and although they were eliminated, still landed a deal with Bodog Music. New Haven’s Nagacult was described by the New Haven Advocate as “'Thick, bruising, and dark as an oil-soaked harbor seal”. The origin of their band name is described as the following: “'Naga' comes from the Indian (of India) word meaning 'supernatural serpent' (in our ideas this being a metaphor for knowledge, DNA, and ancient beliefs of amphibious beings from the stars) and 'Cult' being a culture of people or belief”. They’ve since played numerous venues from New York City to the Boston area, and have shared the stage with such national acts as Dope, WASP, Overkill, and Adema. In describing themselves, they feel that “differing motivations, influences, and ages of the enduring lineup have helped mold Zodiak's sound into a dark brand of hellish metal all our own”. The next step in the band’s growth is to begin shopping for labels in order to expand their EP into a full-length release, while also enabling them to bring their sound from Northeastern concert halls to the rest of the world. Band members are: Stew (vocals/guitar), Jon (drums), Jonny 2.0 (bass). |

Under Falling Skies (from Springfield, MA) got together in 2002, and soon recorded a 4-song demo which they distributed throughout Connecticut and Western Massachusetts. After a lineup change that now features Nicki St. James on bass, UFS (as they are known to their fans) released their first official CD, “Stories Untold”, in 2005. They feel the album “paints a picture of humanity conflicted with the forces of faith, betrayal, and a search to find meaning in the trivial struggles we all must endure. Mixing in vocals with equal parts melody and fury, music filled with both hardcore sound and intricacy, UFS defines themselves through what they are not. They are not another generic band trying to get some thrills out of being on stage. They are not a fad, here today and gone tomorrow”. Hailing from the New Haven area, Bushwhack has been making music together for the past 3 years, and lists Dream Theater, Tool, Incubus, and Porcupine Tree among their influences. Since winning the 2006 battle of the bands at The Space in Hamden, they’ve concentrated on their debut CD which is set for an August, 2007 release. In describing their sound, keyboardist Frank Sacramone says, “We're not a band that is necessarily trying to conform to a genre. What we like to do is to take different ideas - it could be from any genre, from Latin to jazz to heavy metal - and construct pieces that reflect whatever our feelings are on that particular day. We're progressive, to put this into a genre, but if we feel something, we put it in". The band hopes to add a strong vocalist to the lineup in the near future, and eventually make music for a living as a national act. Band members are: Jamie van Dyck (guitar), Frank Sacramone (keyboards), Brandon Green (bass), Ben Shanbrom (drums). |

GBNE (Greatest Band that Never Existed) formed in Suffield, CT in 2005. Their debut CD (ironically titled “Volume 2”) was mostly recorded at Myles Mangino’s Planet Of Sound Studio, and is set for an August, 2007 release. As for their name and outlook, the band gives this answer: “Consider for a moment that some of the greatest bands in the world will never be heard by you and I. Most bands will only play a few shows and some will never leave their basements/garages. At any given time there are probably hundreds of bands out there that would blow our minds but the bitter reality is that only .01% of these bands will be discovered. I guess our image is that we have no image. We don't "sell" it, we play it. I wish we had some cool package of predictable clothes and style but we don't. This is how we roll, take it or leave it.” Band members are: Mike Haines (vocals/guitar), Josh Ballard (bass), Warren Craig (drums). |

Hailing from the Greater Hartford area, The Degenerates' longtime motto is: "The more you drink, the better we sound!". You've heard them on WCCC before, doing a version of "60 Minute Man" for Sebastian In The Morning, Brother Don's "Sunday Services" theme, and on commercials for Rookies Sports Bar. Known for their covers, they've branched out with originals. They're also sponsored by Bud Light. Band members are: Mike Tracy (vocals/guitar), Tony Botticello (lead guitar), Chris Leland (bass), Dave Thayer (drums). |
