Team Challenge is looking for recruits! Team Challenge is a destination half marathon program through the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America  which raises money to find a cure for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, two chronic, autoimmune, often debilitating diseases. It  provides 3-4 months of training and fundraising support to help people cross the finish line after walking or running 13.1 miles at a destination of their choice while raising money for this great cause. This summer season, Team Challenge participants can travel to Chicago, IL; Kona, HI; Newport, RI or Napa, CA. CCFA is a national non-profit organization whose mission is to cure Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis and to improve the quality of life of those affected by these diseases.

Shiloh Baptist Church Young Adult Conference 
April 26, 2014 from 9 am -1 pm. 


350 Albany Avenue in Hartford, CT.
This year the conference will feature dynamic speakers including the new Pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church Pastor Maurice Porter.
Young Adults between the ages of 18-45 will have a chance to encounter topics such as "Hearing from God" and "Living as Kingdom Men and Kingdom Women," as well as participating in a forum about issues young adults struggle with in single or married lives.
$20 per person or you can bring a group of 5 people and each person will pay only $10 dollars.  Breakfast and lunch are included with the price and there will be raffles, prizes, fun activities, and praise and worship for all.

Help children of the community and local crafters raise money for their peers with The Children’s Tag Sale! There's also a town wide tag sale including the project graduation at the Harwinton Fair rounds! Right across the street, The Harwinton Library will be having its annual Plant, Book, and Bake sale!
